Mass testing for COVID-19 is being done at the Carteret County Jail after four detention officers at the jail have tested positive for the virus, officials said. As of Monday, there were no confirmed cases of COVID-19 among the inmates but four detention officers have tested positive, according to a news release from the Carteret County Sheriff's Office.
